About us

Built by people who understand events

Food traders deserve better than having to choose between a standard gazebo banner and an expensive permanent catering unit. We design and manufacture professional food stand systems, signage and upgrades specifically for people who trade at festivals, markets and outdoor events.

Who we are

Behind Foodstands UK is more than 30 years of experience in events, fabrication, signage, set building and specialist manufacturing. We are not simply a graphics broker sending everything to other companies — a large amount of what we supply is produced through our own workshop capabilities.

That includes CNC routing, laser cutting, fabrication, sign making, printing, lighting, painting and bespoke construction. It makes a difference, because food stands rarely involve one trade.

A top sign may need steelwork, acrylic, LEDs, printed graphics and custom brackets. A frontage may combine timber, steel, printed panels, lighting and menus. A folding sign might involve fabricated frames, linear actuators, electrics and illuminated lettering. Being able to look at the entire job means we can design the product around how it will actually be used.

What we do

Built in‑house, finished on site

Stand builds

Gazebo frontages, food trailers, containers, chalets and bespoke units designed around your menu, power needs and transport.

Signs & branding

Top signs, folding signs, 3D lettering, illuminated fascias, banners and full printed wraps that survive life on the road.

Menu boards

Illuminated, reusable and temporary menu boards made to be readable from a distance and easy to update between events.

Seasonal refreshes

Removable overlays and replacement panels so the same unit can switch look for Christmas, summer, festivals or new trading sites.

How we work

We keep the process simple because traders are busy. No layers of account management, no hand‑offs between subcontractors, no surprises on delivery day.

Why traders come to us

  • One workshop. We do not outsource the parts that matter. Fabrication, signage and lighting are all controlled under our own roof.
  • Built to trade. We understand these units have to travel, queue customers and pass event inspections.
  • Clear lead times. We give realistic dates and stick to them, because missing an event is not an option.
  • Refresh, not replace. We can upgrade a unit you already own instead of selling you a whole new build.

We understand the environment

Festival trading is not retail. You may be setting up in a field with limited time. You may need to pack everything into a van or trailer. You may be trading in rain, wind, dust and mud. Your staff need to understand how the stand goes together, your menus need to be visible from a queue, and the whole thing needs to do it again next week. Those practical details influence how we build.

From one small upgrade to a complete stand

You do not need to be commissioning a full frontage to work with us. We are equally happy producing:

A replacement banner
A menu
A set of letters
A new top sign
A seasonal overlay
A complete frontage
A trailer upgrade
A container build
Something completely bespoke

A lot of our customers come back as their businesses develop. That is exactly how we like to work.

Tell us about your stand

Call, email or send the details through the enquiry form. We will come back with the options and a price.
